Dear Jacqui,
This is going to sound extremely weird to you & shocking, but this is so disturbing to me I had to share the news with someone.. I came home & my apartment was completely covered in blood. There was a trail of blood, almost as if someone were dragged, to my bedroom then across the hall to the bathroom. My bedroom walls had blood spattered across them.. My entire bed was stained with crimson. My dresser was broken into pieces on my floor with my clothes scattered across the floor. Obviously this victim struggled. My tv had a hole in it & the screen was cracked. Like whatever weapon was used went through the tv to get the victim. I walked across the hall to the bathroom to see the rest of the damage. The bath tub was filled up with blood. The mirror was shattered & again blood was spattered across the tiles & the wall. I walked out into the living room & I was stumbling over everything because it was thrown across the floors & tables were broken along with the tv. I really do not understand how the person was murdered in my apartment from someone else but I was not.. It makes no sense to me at all. My apartment was a complete mess.. Well I guess next time I need to clean my mess up before I leave. ;) We may not see each other for a while.
Sincerely, Alexis

Supernatural :)
Out of atmosphere, action, & the supernatural, I think that the supernatural is more effective in Mary Shelley's FRankenstein. I think that the supernatural is the most effective because after all, if Frankenstein had no monster in it, the book would not have been a hit at all. The whole story is based off of this creature & his life, or how Frankenstein created this creature & how it affected his life. No matter who is playing the narrator, the creature is brought up. How interesting would the book be if there were no eight foot tall, ugly wretched creature in it terrorizing people? Not only is the supernatural element effective in Frankenstein but it is effective in most hits. For example, Twilight & Goosebumps were huge hits.. because they had supernatural elements involved in the writing making them far more interesting or bone chilling; perhaps even giving the reader goosebumps. ;) Therefore, I think supernatural if the most effective element in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
My Ghost Story
In the beginning of Mary Shelley's Fankenstein, she uses four letter from Robert Walton writing to his sister while on his voyage to the Artic Pole. Walton travels to the Artic Pole to find magnetism. While on his trip, he comes across a stranger who begins to tell Walton a story about his life. The stranger tells his story through Walton & that begins chapter one. If I were to write a ghost story, I would begin with someone's personal, yet true, experience with a ghost. Then the rest of my story would be a similar & fake story with a little exaggeration thrown into the mix... Like a ghost that kills or something. Maybe I should write a ghost story.. ?

Rejection
So here's the situation.. A boy named Drake and a girl named Nicki have been best friends since kindergarten. They have lived on Elmore Street next to each other for as long as they could remember. Their families have gone on vacation together every year for the past ten years. They're both sophomores at their local high school. They have both been in and out of relationships since middle school, but none have really worked out. Nicki has always liked Drake and has told him multiple times but he always just put her in the friendzone. Nicki has tried to just brush off her feelings but they always seem to come back. After countless years of her trying, Nicki has always felt rejected from Drake. Since Nicki got tired of trying, she started to drift apart from Drake. Drake could sense that something was up so he decided to talk to Nicki about her feelings. They had a long discussion about how she felt rejected & eventually Drake decided that he would take her out & give her a chance. 20 years later... Drake & Nicki are happily married & have 3 kids named Luke, Miranda, & Blake. Moral of the story is try everything once :)

If I Were A Superhero..
If I were a superhero, I would conceal my identity. I would not want anyone to find out my identity because I think it would be pretty awesome to hear people talk about the good things I would do for the city. Like yeah I am awesome, but do not talk about it because I am secretly here. Plus, I would not want anyone to try to trick me into running their corny errands for them. For example, saving their cat from a tree, retrieving their kid's ball from the neighbor's yard without him noticing because that was the third time it landed there & he was getting irritable, or getting their kids to school on time. I would not mind helping the townspeople out but only if it was something they could not do themselves, like save the city from Nessie or Godzilla. So hopefully if I were a superhero, the townspeople would not make me run lame errands for them that way I could save the city from Nessie or Godzilla.

My Worst Nightmare
I forgot my iPod & phone charger. I had to spend the week over my grandparents house even though they live around the corner from my house. It was late at night, & everyone was sleeping & I could not go walking out at night & risk getting stolen. I am a little squirt & it would be pretty easy to snatch me up. (I have pepper spray though). While I contemplated what to do I remembered that I forgot my key so I would not be able to get my chargers & I fell asleep from frustration. I dreamed of a land with endless outlets & free wifi with every charger that was ever made. When I woke up in the morning, both my phone & iPod was dead. I was about to throw a fit when I remembered that my doors have digital locks & that I do not need a key. Then I remembered that our family has had these locks for about a year now & I should have remembered that from the get go. Well since it was the morning & I could now walk safely around the corner to my house (because all the creeps come out at night) I got my chargers. When I got back to my grandparents' house, I then remembered that I do not even have a phone or an iPod. Then I woke up from this nightmare & laughed because I would NEVER forget my chargers. :)

Trust Me Broseph
One time I told someone to trust me was actually last night. I was talking to my best friend Ivan, & he brought up a subject that related to me but he insisted on not telling me what it was. He kept going on about how I might take it the wrong way, or not talk to him anymore because of it. Last time he was honest about something, it did not end so well. Since we're such great friends, he did not want the same thing to happen to us. I told Ivan that no matter what it was he could trust me, & I would not take it the way he did not want me to. I felt like since those were personal thoughts that I could not be mad at him because it was an opinion. Of course I do not have to like the opinion but I would have to deal with it for the sake of the friendship. I believe that our friendship is worth more than me getting upset over how someone feels. It took a while to coax Ivan, but finally I just told him that I did not care what it was & that I was not going to force him to tell me because that is his decision at the end of the day. Well of course after I said that he told me.:) I was obviously right about the whole situation.

Accomplishments
Starting to pass, & succeed in biology is the best accomplishment I had made this year. Life science is way easier to me than physical science. It could be because biology is about life, & that is more appealing to me. It is about the human body, nature, & animals. All things that I actually like. Also I think that the new approaches to how we learn the material catches our attention more. I rather watch videos that have music, animation, & bright colors over a boring old book that smells, & describes every thing the complicated way. Everyday in freshman year, we read the book , & discusses what we read as we went. This year, we read, watch videos, work on practice sheets, & go over power points. I rather learn using various tools, than using the same one everyday. I think this is the biggest reason why I improves this year in science.

The Struggle Is Real
The OGT tests I am most worried about are the math, history, & a little bit of English. I am not worried about the biology test because we are constantly going over OGT stuff; whether it is a practice test or we read out of the OGT book. We pretty much have a feel for what is going to be on the test for the most part. In math. We have the decision to do some practice problems from the book & they will be counted as extra credit. That would help a lot considering I do not do that well on math tests. History concerns me because I second guess myself or mistake one event for another. It requires some thinking outside the box & sometimes I am not too good at that. I am kind of nervous for the English because the the tricky grammar & big words that talk about some type of emotion confuse me. I can get rid of these feelings by studying more, not stressing out about it, & getting as much practice as I can.
