The One Thing I Would Change

The one thing that I would change that happened in my life would be my sister & nephew moving to Missouri. I would change that because my sister & I are really close & I can talk to her about anything. Also, it is hard to be away from my nephew all the time. I love that little dude, & he always makes my day but he cannot because he is not here! My sister (Jacqui) moved to Missouri because her fiancĂ© (Sean) got a job & they all moved there. I am not exactly sure how I would change this, but I would at least have tried to coax Sean to find a job in Ohio equal to the one in Missouri. It most likely would not have worked, but it would  have been worth a try. This would have effected my family & I because we would be able to see Jacqui & Jayden more often. My bond with my sister would strengthen even more & I would have things to look forward to after school, or during the weekends. I would always be over my sister's house hanging out with her or spending the night like we used to. For now, I just have to wait until they come for visits.. (one which should hopefully be towards the ending of October :))

Jayden :)

Out of all the people in my life there is to value, I value my nephew the most. Yes, I am a young aunt.  But frankly, I love it. My nephew's name is Jayden. He is two years old, going on three, but he acts like he is five. He like to be independent & make people laugh. He brightens everybody's & anybody's day who meets him. For being two, he is such a caring, sweet, innocent gentleman. The reason I value him most is because he is still a young child but he is so bright &  has his whole future ahead of him. He is so oblivious to the huge things going on around him, even though he knows what they are, but he cannot help but make everyone take the good out of it. Someone can be in the worst mood but will smile because of him. When I say he is oblivious, I mean he is unaware of the surroundings around him & he does not fully grasp the concepts of everything, but what little kid does not? That is one of the things I like about him most, his innocence. It reminds me that not everything in the world is bad & we should still have faith in the following generations. This little heart breaker is going to make it! Love you Jay :)

Summer

The most interesting thing that happened to me during summer was when my neighbors got into a fight. It all started when my friend Jordan came over & we were just talking outside on my porch. Suddenly, we saw the guy pulling his girlfriend outside by her hair. Although this may sound stupid, Jordan & I did not know if they were serious so we just froze; mouths open, staring in awe at each other. While we were talking, the girl comes out the house again. This time, she was bawling her eyes out. She walked down the street, but after a while we could not see her anymore. Jordan & I got carried away watching vines, but eventually the guy came out with the baby in the stroller & they walked to get his girlfriend. They came back fifteen to twenty minutes later & when they got back inside, they were arguing & screaming so loud. To make a long story short, they kept fighting; throwing some punches at each other, (one which hit the baby), & got the cops called on them. When the cops arrived, they had already left, but eventually they resolved everything & everything cooled down.

My Name

Alexis
People look it up & it says "helper" or "defender"
I am not much of either but I guess I try
I do not think that my parents were striving for that though
My mom changes it all the time; there is multiple reasons
"I liked that name ever since I was younger",
Or "We found it in the baby book."
But the most famous is "I always liked the car Lexus"
Gee thanks mom
Quite honestly I always preferred a nickname like "Lexi" or "Lex"
I am not a big fan of my name for some reason.
Could it be because it is a big name for boys in Puerto Rico?
I cannot answer that question but maybe one day it will come to me
I have always met more guys named Alexis than girls but hey I'm not judging
I always thought "well if I married him we could have the same name.."
Aha well then that would be cool I guess
Sometimes I think, what if my name was something different?
Would my personality be different?
Would I still be like a bottle of champagne?
Bubbly when my tops on, but when you pop it off, I burst with excitement or anger?
Well I will never get answers to any of those questions.
