Trust Me Broseph

One time I told someone to trust me was actually last night. I was talking to my best friend Ivan, & he brought up a subject that related to me but he insisted on not telling me what it was. He kept going on about how I might take it the wrong way, or not talk to him anymore because of it. Last time he was honest about something, it did not end so well. Since we're such great friends, he did not want the same thing to happen to us. I told Ivan that no matter what it was he could trust me, & I would not take it the way he did not want me to. I felt like since those were personal thoughts that I could not be mad at him because it was an opinion. Of course I do not have to like the opinion but I would have to deal with it for the sake of the friendship. I believe that our friendship is worth more than me getting upset over how someone feels. It took a while to coax Ivan, but finally I just told him that I did not care what it was & that I was not going to force him to tell me because that is his decision at the end of the day. Well of course after I said that he told me.:) I was obviously right about the whole situation.

Accomplishments

Starting to pass, & succeed in biology is the best accomplishment I had made this year. Life science is way easier to me than physical science. It could be because biology is about life, & that is more appealing to me. It is about the human body, nature, & animals. All things that I actually like. Also I think that the new approaches to how we learn the material catches our attention more. I rather watch videos that have music, animation, & bright colors over a boring old book that smells, & describes every thing the complicated way. Everyday in freshman year, we read the book , & discusses what we read as we went. This year, we read, watch videos, work on practice sheets, & go over power points. I rather learn using various tools, than using the same one everyday. I think this is the biggest reason why I improves this year in science.

The Struggle Is Real

The OGT tests I am most worried about are the math, history, & a little bit of English. I am not worried about the biology test because we are constantly going over OGT stuff; whether it is a practice test or we read out of the OGT book. We pretty much have a feel for what is going to be on the test for the most part. In math. We have the decision to do some practice problems from the book & they will be counted as extra credit. That would help a lot considering I do not do that well on math tests. History concerns me because I second guess myself or mistake one event for another. It requires some thinking outside the box & sometimes I am not too good at that. I am kind of nervous for the English because the the tricky grammar & big words that talk about some type of emotion confuse me. I can get rid of these feelings by studying more, not stressing out about it, & getting as much practice as I can.
