If Money Were No Object

If money were no object, I would want to be an actress. I started performing in plays when I was in fourth grade. The summers of fifth & sixth grades went to an acting camp at French Creek. Those two summers were the best because I had activities to wake up for or look forward to. The camp really helped me open up & not be afraid or shy to get in front of people. When I was in fourth, fifth, & sixth grade, I participated in plays at school, always receiving a main role or one of the main roles. It was strange because most of the plays I voted in, I played the role of a boy. It never really mattered to me because I was on stage. When everyone is a young child, they want to grow up to become rich & famous, or a celebrity. Personally, all of that would be fantastic, but those qualities are not important to me. I would just prefer to be on stage, in front of the camera, or whatever it may be, as long as I'm doing what I love. This would impact society because I would be entertaining people because I openly want to, & not because of the paycheck. Through my work, I could entertain people, inform, inspire, persuade, or alter their feelings about something. No matter what they would be feeling, they would at least be feeling something. That would leave me feeling amazed that I could make people feel great emotions & al because they watched something I participated in. & that would be the most rewarding thing in the world.

Favorite Hobby

Even though this is not much of a hobby, my favorite thing to do is read. Over the summer, I read the rest of the Percy Jackson series. I was constantly on my laptop picking up where I last left off in the book. I loved reading the Percy Jackson books because the stories relate to Greek mythology & I completely love Greek mythology. Most of the adventures Percy & his friends went on involved some type of fight a great hero was once in. To defeat the god or creature, they would follow how the hero defeated that creature. For example, they defeated Polyphemus by following the example of Odysseus. I also enjoy reading teen dramas because I can relate to them on a certain level. My two favorite authors are Sharon M. Draper & Rick Riordan. Another of my favorite series is Crank by Ellen Hopkins. When I really enjoy a book, I can read it for hours. I put it down but I find myself picking it back up twenty minutes later to find out what happened. I get so into reading, I often compare things in life to what I read in books, or the littlest things remind me of my book. I actually need a new series to read; any suggestions?
